This is for iPad/iPhones with lightning ports, if you have an iPad with USB-C this is the wrong device, you should instead use a USB-C Ethernet adapter with power passthrough

Note this does not support Gigabit Ethernet because Apple Lightning is limited to USB 2.0. For passthrough power you'll to provide you own Lightning USB-C Cable and USB-C Charger supporting power delivery of at least 12 watts.
