Rocks Glass
Fill with Ice, chill 5 minutes, discard ice

1 Sugar Cube (1 tsp white sugar)
3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Mixing Glass
Muddle

1 1/4 oz Rye whiskey
1 1/4 oz Cognac
Fill Mixing Glass with Ice
Stir

1/2oz Absinthe
Rinse chilled, empty rocks glass with Absinthe
Discard any excess

Strain into prepared rocks glass.

Lemon peel, twisted to express oils
Garnish
